Recycled Circular Briefing Zone Area

A site needs good communication and visual aids to ensure the correct message is delivered to protect the workforce and deliver a key message daily.

During the construction process there is always issues with getting the correct message and communication across to the workforce. On this project they have recognised from an early stage that this is one of the key components to a successful and safe project.

Therefore, they have introduced a recycled cable drum that was utilised during the enabling works, which has a revolving white board arrangement which allows the supervisors, operatives and visitors a 360 degree view of the daily hazards, safety alerts, activities on site and the performance of each sub-contractor that has been appointed.

This briefing drum has been positioned at the entrance to the site and forms a key part of the daily briefings that take place every morning with all supervisors on site. It can be easily updated and saves on time and cost in buying a proprietary system.
