Regular Residents’ Drop-In Session on the Hyde Project

L&Q group welcomes residents to visit The Hyde project as part of our Open Door policy. There is a regular one hour drop-in session that takes place every last Friday of the month on site office.

This means that every month, participants have the opportunity to see a short presentation about the scope of the project and have a look at the design of the future flats. Attendants meet the site team and ask their questions, make suggestions and state their complaints as the project progresses.

They can have a look from the viewing deck and check the progress of the works, enabling them to see the development over a course of months.

This regular drop in session provides unique chance and experience for neighbours to see behind the scenes at a big “live” construction site.

The benefits of a session like this is to reduce complaints and strengthen relationships with local community so they more readily accept the noise and vibration they may experience as a result of the works.
