Remotely Controlled Floor Screeding

On this project floor screeding is being carried using a self-contained large lorry which is computer and remotely controlled to mix sand and cement in 45 seconds and then pumps the screed to the workplace. The lorry arrives on site preloaded with cement and sand.

Whilst the vehicle returns to the depot to be filled with cement the sand can be refilled on-site with a grab lorry or at the depot.

The environmental benefits are no waste and no air pollution with cement dust. Furthermore there is no manual labour involved in mixing the screed and quality control is confirmed with print outs of every mix.
