Renewable Energy Temporary Electricity Supplies

St James Group’s Fitzroy Gate development in Isleworth has procured 100% green electricity tariffs on their temporary electricity supplies.

These supply the site from renewable energy sources which are certified by our energy supplier and are from hydroelectric and wind energy sources as shown here.

We are implementing a carbon offsetting strategy on site by being lean, green and accountable.

To summarise this, our first aim is to be more energy efficient on site (e.g. by using LED and PIR lighting), then to promote clean energy sources (such as procuring green energy tariffs for site supplies) and finally to offset any emissions from site through off site measures which are due to be implemented over the next year.

This is to ensure we meet our commitment of becoming the first carbon positive house builder in the UK.
