Road clean up as a community gesture

Our team worked with the client Walsall Council and local community leaders to clean and repair a road in Walsall that was usually full of parked cars as a gesture of goodwill to the community.

We enlisted the help of the local police, and after letter dropping the residents, managed to remove most of the cars for the entirety of the day. This enabled us to bring in extra crews to repair the road and footpath, which had not been able to be maintained for some years.

We had the gulley wagon in to empty and jet all drains, and the council provided litter picking and cleansing teams, and along with volunteers the area had a deep clean.

The whole project took some time to arrange and co-ordinate through local community group meetings but it was a success, with compliments received from local councillors and residents.
