Road Noise Awareness

Ciorba Construction is improving the image of construction by showing respect to all around us, not just on site.

Driving in Central London can be hectic and stressful. With this in mind, we are asking our vehicle drivers to keep radio volumes at a minimum.

In residential areas, while in parking mode (i.e. loading/unloading) they are being asked to:

  1. Turn the engine off
  2. Not to slam doors
  3. Keep radios and conversation down
  4. Keep noise as minimal as possible
  5. Keep pavement and sidewalks tidy and safe.

As a reminder for all drivers these rules are also posted on company vehicles’ doors.

This initiative is a simple and cost-effective way for smaller sites to respect their community.
