Road traffic fair

Road traffic can be extremely dangerous especially around construction sites where HGVs and other industrial vehicles are present.

The site below raised awareness of this danger through the following:

  • The site has been running an exhibition at local fairs and large companies with an HGV2 and a site tipper to enable members of the public to sit in drivers’ seats and experience the visibility and blind spots inherent in these vehicles;
  • This is accomplished with a driver as trainer and using cones and assistants as pedestrians and cyclists moving around relative to the vehicle.
