Room signs with key programme dates

The project team implemented signage in individual rooms which included key milestone programme dates for the specific room on site such as room cleared by, Decorations, Plant delivery, MEP install completion etc.

Why this was used?

  • This lets the operatives know when key dates are.
  • They inform and remind construction managers the dates when walking around site.
  • They are a visual aid on site walks for the visitors. It helps get a better understanding of future works.

Was it successful?

  • They have been used on site walks to inform the client of future work within the room.
  • Operatives have said that it is nice to be reminded of the key dates in the room they are working in.
  • They have been used on multiple rooms and now link all the critical path rooms together.

The next steps

  • To create more signs for different rooms and update the dates if the programme changes.
  • Have more information about the plant in the room with photos to inform visitors.
