Safe Heating System Implemented which Reduce Energy Usage

The site team has worked diligently to reduce its carbon footprint and as an example of this an innovative safe heating system was introduced to maintain the ambient temperature within work areas.

The system incorporates 6 low energy heaters designed to cover an area of 175m3 and to maintain ambient temperatures between -13C and 18C.

Each of the low-energy heaters runs on a 400 V, 13 A on a standard commando socket configuration, this allowing the site to run heaters on half the power supply that would typically supply one of the older gas heaters.
