Safe System of Work for Window Installation
To prevent falls of personnel from height during windows installation, Vertemax edge protection brackets and Combisafe systems have been installed at the outside of the slab edge.
Edge protection will be installed by the competent and designated personnel with the use of mast climbers. The installation of the edge protection system must be in place prior to windows installation.
The use of carabiners and snap links (as secondary safety devices) and fixed lines are to be fixed to the temporary window brackets, the carabiners and fixed lines shall have an approved configuration.
Temporary safety brackets and lugs are securely installed to the SFS on the top and sides to secure the windows during the installation process.
