Safety hazard QR codes

Construction sites are full of potential hazards, and contractors must take appropriate measures to ensure these are clearly identified.

See the examples below for how one site addressed this:

  • QR codes are posted around the site to enable operatives with smartphones to access information on all site hazards.
  • The hazard information is displayed visually in 360 degrees.
  • Operatives can report hazards and near misses using the system.

This system uses mobile technology to provide operatives with relevant safety information in their pocket, making sure that everyone on a site is aware of hazards.
