Screens for Canteen and Locker Room to Aid Coronavirus Prevention

The Site Management Team has developed a range of partition screens to enable social distancing in the project.

The most used welfare areas on site are the canteen and the locker room. The partitioning screens allow us to follow official government guidance on social distancing, offering protection for workers who would otherwise be working within two metres of each other.

It also increases privacy and encourages tidiness around the welfare area.

This new arrangements have been received very well by our workforce who helped with the build of the set up.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
