Secure and unmanned facilities

Sites should actively seek new methods to aid their workforce and reduce carbon emissions.

A number of sites are unable to store equipment and materials securely, thus relying heavily on deliveries.

A significant number of deliveries to site not only wastes time and manpower, but also increases disruptions within the local community and carbon emissions.

A number of sites have counteracted this problem by utilising ePods.

An ePod is an unmanned, self contained portal that is available for hire or purchase, when it is not cost effective to have manned facilities:

Benefits of ePods:

  • Ready access to assets in a secure area, reducing amount of deliveries and vehicles required;
  • Small equipment is available instantaneously;
  • Lower staffing costs;
  • Designed to withstand harsh environments;
  • Easy to transport to site and installed using a standard forklift which slots into the reinforced ventilation ducts above the doorway.
