Self Sanitising Door Handle Covers
The project team sourced self-sanitising door handle covers from ‘Purehold’. These were developed for health and care settings and are coated with an anti-bacterial coating that kills germs and reduces risk of infections spreading.
The silver ion coating combats against pathogens deposited onto the surface of the handles.
This cost effective solution contributes to infection control. An indicator on the handle shows when the coating is losing its effectiveness.
