Sharing local history with the community

Involvement with the local community is a great way of gaining support and building relationships throughout the project.

Giving back something unique to the community, will leave a positive lasting impression after the project has been completed.

Ellmer Construction contributed to the local community through showcasing local history:

  • A ‘Local history of the area’ flyer was produced monthly and copies displayed at the site entrance for passers-by to take a copy;
  • We have found that members of the local community read these and are very interested in reading each months flyer;
  • Feedback suggests that this initiative engages the community about the works we are carrying out and what transformation has taken place over the years in the area.
