Showing Sensitivity to the Community

Residents were extremely anxious about proposed demolition works on this project as some had lived there for many years. Some members of the community asked if they could witness the actual demolition of their houses which the contractor were more than happy to accommodate.

Safe and secure areas were designated for them to stand, accompanied by the managers allowing them to video/photograph the complete works.

Demolition work can be dangerous but with careful planning and safety procedures in place the community can be remotely involved promoting the industry with minimum impact to everyone.

The following feedback was received from the residents:

“We would also like to thank you for going out of your way to provide this experience for us, as this was a very emotional event for her. Excellent customer service, thanks.”

“L A Moore were amazing I could not fault them at all, Hannah was with me all day I was there, and lots of photos and short videos were taken. My emotions were very high to start with but as the time went on I enjoyed watching and chatting to Hannah about the neighbourhood and how me and my daughter have grown up there.”

“I can’t thank you or LA Moore enough for letting me in and having the experience of that day.”

We continue to support the community, supplying a decorator and materials to repaint the ceilings and walls of the local community centre that suffered arson during lockdown and organised a ‘Meet the Contractor’ event for local schools and community.
