Simplified Lift Planning

The contractor has done away with scaling out crane lifts with pen and paper and scouring through load charts as they now quickly and easily plan crane lifts with a system called Kranxpert.

To use this you do not need to know CAD, or master a complicated program, in order to draw obstacles or buildings, as the system, through familiar drawing tools, allows the user to visualise the crane lift in a myriad of views.

2D and 3D drawing tools are available which make the process even more efficient, with the advantage of the 3D drawing tools being that these also become visible within the other views – meaning, if you draw e. g. a cube in the base view it is viewable as a cube within the other views.

This brings many safety benefits including:

  • The ability to understand better what usually is proposed by third parties, and be more engaged
  • The ability to accurately plot cranes and lorries requirement and plan the traffic accordingly without last minute adjustment
  • Easier way to engage with workforce and illustrate activities happening.
