Site Safety Podcast

To reduce on-site noise and support inclusive learning, this contractor has launched a new safety podcast for operatives. Delivered as a friendly, conversational format, it offers a more engaging alternative to traditional briefings.

This change responds to resident feedback about early morning noise from on-site safety talks. Operatives can now listen during their commute or at a time that suits them. The podcast also supports neurodiverse team members, allowing them to revisit key information.

Feedback from both the workforce and local residents has been very positive, and the contractor is continuing to develop the podcast series throughout the project and explore further ways to enhance communication and learning across the site.

This initiative reimagines traditional site briefings by delivering essential safety information in an engaging, conversational audio format operatives can access anytime.
