Site Scan

Site Scan, a drone mapping software that is designed to revolutionise imagery data collection, processing & analyses, is implemented on this site to track earthworks and stockpile volumes and movements.

There are inherent hazards and dangers when measuring the stockpiles using traditional methods, where the engineer is required to physically step on top of the stockpile with the GNSS Receiver to obtain the correct data.

Stockpiles have no safe means of access and egress and thus rely on the team to create safe means for the engineer to access the top of the stockpile to take the measurements. By using Site Scan & the drone survey, they eliminate the need for the engineer to step onto the stockpile, thus removing this inherent hazard/danger.
