Site Swab Drive – Stem Cell Donor
Dillan is in need of a bone marrow transplant and there have been a series of drives across the Greater Manchester area to try and find a donor for him. The young boy is local to Greater Manchester and the site were told about the drive through a personal connection, which was being held in close proximity to site.
The team were encouraged to attend and sign up, and there was a great sign up from all members of the team. This is demonstrative of their effective community engagement to deliver positive impacts and really driving to support and benefit the communities that they work in.
This helps to raise the profile of becoming a stem cell donor and the importance of doing so amongst the team and their broader families.
