Site Workforce Upskilling

ISG Construction, Plot 3 Central Square Project has employed White Hart Multimedia, who specialise in the development of training resources, to produce a bespoke e-learning package.
The suite of learning is designed for upskilling all operatives on site (likely to be 200-250) across a range of different health and safety subjects.

Learners are immersed in real-life situations where they make decisions or take actions that mirror activities they would undertake on site. Feedback is given in the form of “consequences” of the decision or action they have taken, again reflecting the actual consequence of those actions on site.

The current focus is on six topics including occupational hazards, working at height, and slips, trips and falls. Each module takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is followed by a quiz to test learners’ knowledge and retention.

Operatives receive a certificate when they pass each training session and ISG is able to monitor who has been trained and pass rates. This will also help identify potential trends and gaps in knowledge. ISG may look to roll out across all sites of a certain size/ value.
