Skills cards – ensuring appropriate training for all on site

Relevant skills cards are required for everyone on site, to ensure that workers and visitors have the correct levels of health and safety awareness.

CSCS cards are proof that the individual carrying the card has the required training and qualifications, to access site and complete their work.

Below is an example of how you can ensure that all on site are appropriately qualified:

  • CSCS and skill cards were automatically recorded online, scanned on site and entered into company data;
  • This would then highlight the expiry date during the induction process, to confirm the suitability of operatives access to site;
  • This would also alert site managers when workers needed to re-book tests and re-apply for cards.

There is also an App available to check card validity, click here to find out more.
