At the Pontoon Dock site, we constantly try to improve the safety of our workforce. We believe that we have an obligation to provide our construction workers the highest standards in terms of safety and working conditions. Using improved tools, we can make our job easier and ensure our safety.

The Escalib Mills is a Spiral Stair Tower with a side exit that we use on our site. The stair tower is construction using a base, 1 to 8 modules, that are easy to erect using a crane and a barrier gate at the top. The Escalib Mills tower can be moved by crane; its small footprint makes it easy to set up even in cramped sites.

The advantages include:

  • Easy, safe access (all the levels can be assessed without modification)
  • Erection and dismantling using collective protection with built-in guardrails (no safety harness)
  • Fast installation and mobility
  • Compact footprint
  • Only three different one piece sections.
  • Can be moved by crane.
  • Compatible with Escalib 2 and 3 rail models
  • Tough and galvanised.

We use it on Pontoon Dock for the Civil Works and I confirm this is the safest and most efficient way to accessing work areas for our workforce.
