Sponge the Manager

In September, the LSE CBR Project held a hog roast on our logistics zone for all our operatives on site. The purpose of this was to reward operatives working on the project and to give something back.

This included shutting the site at 3pm and giving our hog roast dinners with some complimentary beers. As part of this event, the site also supported the Lighthouse charity with donation buckets an a ‘Sponge the Manager’ event.

The event consisted of an Ivor Goodsite cut-out being filled with the most popular managers on site. Operatives and other managers could donate £5 for three throws aiming at a manager of their choice.

The event went down extremely well and provided a good level of casual entertainment for the hog roast, with more than 50 operatives and managers getting involved. Luckily the day was in the sunshine so most people dried out relatively quickly.
