Most companies have a newsletter but Higgins now have a Safety Newsletter. The thinking behind this was to start sharing good and bad practice and to share information with the sites.
By doing this as a newsletter it stops too many emails and communications being sent but ensures that no message is missed.
The newsletter is circulated quarterly and is emailed to all Higgins employees as well as hard copies being sent to the sites for display and share with the subcontractors on site.
The newsletter has the details of any accidents or incidents in the past quarter, information on key campaigns we are running, as well as details of any other information that has been circulated to the sites.
It also has details of the Higgins Safety Committee members so should people wish to raise any issues but not know who to speak to they can also go via this route.
