SSSTS Training Provided by Site for Local Residents

This contractor had a new approach to developing skills and knowledge within the construction industry. Traditionally, the construction industry has relied on on-the-job training and apprenticeships to teach new workers the necessary skills.

Therefore this contractor provided Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) opportunities to the community who may not have otherwise been able to attend such training.

This allowed for residents to learn construction skills which can help create a trained workforce that can contribute to the growth and development of their community as well as addressing skill shortages in the construction industry, providing job opportunities for residents, and boosting the local economy.
