During the New Build for Aldercar Community College, students from the High School were taken to the steelworks manufacturing plant to see how the new school was designed.
They were shown the programs that were used in creating the layout of the building along with the drawings that are used.
They also were able to see how the steel beams were created and were then given a tour around the factory.
On the tour the students were shown the different types of machinery used as well as seeing how all of the processes come together from design, to manufacturing to delivery to site.
