Stoptober

Stoptober is an NHS campaign to encourage people to stop smoking throughout the month of October.

The campaign is all about making people aware of the risks associated with smoking and encouraging them to quit.

To support the Stoptober campaign on your site, you could do the following:

Encourage all smokers on your site to sign up to the Stoptober campaign;
Run toolbox talks about the benefits of quitting smoking and advise why it is bad for your health;
Ask nurses to give free support and advice to help workers to quit smoking.
