Sustainable Tower Lighting

Working with Speedy, ATC implemented the UK’s first live trial on an active construction site of The SMC Solar-2 LED lighting tower. The lighting tower meets the industry’s demands for a sustainable, environmentally friendly and low maintenance lighting tower.

The Solar-2 is Britain’s first solar lighting tower. Reliable, robust and offering instant light from four LED lamps, the SMC Solar-2 does not compromise on power or quality. With both battery and mains supply provision, it offers flexible options for all applications on site.

In applications where noise needs to be minimised – SMC Solar-2 provides the ultimate silent solution.

In order for ATC to determine its environmental and commercial viability, a month long trial was instigated comparing the SMC Solar-2 LED lighting tower against the currently operational VB-9 Eco Tower Lights at our Westbourne Park Railhead Site in West London where the need for all year round night time task lighting is required.
