System to Provide Real Time Temperature and Strength Gain Notifications in Poured Concrete

Traditionally, when forming RC slabs on an RC frame, site can not issue a permit to strike the formwork until cube results have been returned, however the lab may not always have cubes crushed/results available.

Converge DNA is a system that gives real-time concrete curing data and accurate AI predictions. Embeddable wireless sensors are cast into the slab, providing live strength results via bluetooth transmittal. These results are uploaded to a portal viewable by the site team and also the structural engineer. Cubes are still taken and processed for QA purposes alongside the Converge DNA sensors.

The ConvergeDNA system has improved productivity on site, but more importantly with real time predictive data on concrete strength, the concrete frame contractor can create a better schedule of work for their team. This has resulted in better overall productivity and resource provision.
