The ability to act quickly in response to an accident is crucial on-site.

Site safety should always be of utmost importance, with logical procedures in place to deal with potential accidents or emergencies.

The right equipment that can be accessed and applied quickly can make a major difference to the outcome of a safety critical event.

Below is an example of how a site implemented team safety bags:

  • Safety bags were issued to each team at induction;
  • These contained full PPE, dust masks, fire extinguisher, spill kit, RCD in case use of 240v electricity and first aid kit;
  • Bags were moved around site with each team and made easily accessible in any of the working areas;
  • Cost is approximately £80 per bag.
