The Light Balloon Module System

Works were being carried out for the removal of existing street lighting on the A34 and A555.

To ensure there was adequate lighting for the travelling members of the public and the workforce carrying out night work activities, an alternative light source was required.

After some research and a trial period the Light Balloon Module system was found to be a great alternative.

One of the unique things about the light balloon is that it is glare free. This makes the system ideal for working on public roads (not dazzling the drivers).

The balloon light is a very simple design, meaning the setup is quick and easy.

The Light Balloon can be fixed to the ground using bolts through the tripod feet, so making it far more secure than alternatives such as mobile lighting towers.

The Light Balloon has been seen and tried as a good long term solution for works around the A34 and A555.

The scheme has also used the Light Balloon for certain satellite compounds that require a better light source.
