Thermal Imaging of Temporary Power Supplies

Following a recent incident involving temporary shaft lighting, it has been decided to include thermal imaging as part of the routine inspection regime for temporary power supplies across all C360 sites.

The infrared thermometer is designed to identify intermittent problems by monitoring equipment and cables over a period of time when a temperature is outside the expected range.

The device blends thermal images with normal camera images to clearly identify the hottest and coldest parts of any equipment or cable.
