Time to Talk Day

Time to Talk Day is coordinated annually by Time to Change.

The week is all about preventing people being too afraid to talk about their mental health, because they fear it will affect their jobs or relationships.

To support Time to Talk Day on your site, you could do the following:

  • Display notices to promote awareness of stress;
  • Make posters and leaflets from organisations such as CALM, who support those affected by mental health, readily available;
  • Arrange for talks to be given to the workforce on stress issues, ranging from good stress to how to deal with stress;
  • Review the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s Spotlight on… mental health campaign, which includes case studies of how sites have raised awareness of mental health amongst the workforce.

Time to Talk Day is held annually on the first Thursday in February, and to find out more about this event, click below.
