Tip Skip with Wheels

The Hornsea Leisure Centre project has involved a lot of stripping out of the existing internal fixtures, fittings, walls and partitions, and we needed to find a safe method of removing this from the building. The existing building is all low level with wide corridors that have multiple use rooms attached to them.

We looked at the advantage of fixing castors to tip skips already on site to move a large volume of light materials.

After sourcing casters for type, weight, swivel and brake from our local supplier and fixing them to the tip skip, it has saved time and proved to be a safe way of removing the demolition from the building.

The casters have allowed easy movement around the building speeding up the strip out process.
