Toolbox Talk for Construction Workers

CITB and the Construction Leadership Council have issued a comprehensive set of checklists and forms to help site managers brief workers and operate sites safely.

One of these documents is a toolbox talk for construction workers, designed to be delivered to construction workers by their manager or supervisor.

Good communication is essential for health and safety management on construction sites.

It is vitally important that contractors, managers and supervisors engage and consult with workers, as it is an effective way of identifying hazards and controlling risks.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
