Tracking System on Hardhat Identification Tags

The site has been involved directly with an IT developer and have now installed a tracking system where each operative has an identification tag on their hardhats which records their position on site at all times.

Using the information identification can quickly be established if operatives are failing to comply with social distancing.

The system also provides information should anyone having attended the site test positive for coronavirus for tracking and tracing purposes.

The System can also be used for tracking purposes regarding permits.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
