Traumafix

As an industry it is always good to have the input from people from other backgrounds, and we have currently employed someone from a military background as a foreman.

One question he asked was that as a high risk industry, do we have trauma bandages in case of a major bleed? Many sites don’t, they just have standard first aid boxes.

Our safety adviser contacted Greenhams, our site supplier, who acknowledged they do not stock this kind of product. Off the back of this, they now stock Traumafix and will publish this in their next catalogue.

The advantages of employing people from other backgrounds is their fresh look on our industry compared to their previous ones.
