Tyre, MOT and eco-driving tips for workers

As part of promoting safe and sustainable transport for the workforce, a campaign day was held to raise awareness on green driving and how workers could save money, or even avoid penalty points on their licence.

This included online surveys as part of the Sustainable Transport Campaign, a free tyre MOT and a free Eco Driving Pack for all workers who signed up for a check.

We set aside three of our team to organise the event and help workers throughout the day. For those who didn’t know, we helped people understand tyre tread legal requirements, how to monitor car tyre pressures and learn more about greener driving – saving money and the environment.

Building the benefits of the day, we invited workers who had taken up the offer to make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.
