Unitised Facade
This contractor designed, manufactured and install a prefabricated unitised facade to encapsulate the envelope.
The prefabricated precast concrete facade panels were produced off site, then they coordinated the design with another subcontractor who installed curtain walling and glazing off site. The panels arrived on site completed and ready for install, before being lifted into position.
This method reduced waste onsite significantly as well as reducing carbon emissions along with being a more efficient process carried out in a controlled environment.
