EARPS have procured a GoPro Max, which allows us to take 360 degree videos. These videos allow the site team to take one walk around site and capture everything that could be seen from the walk around in any direction, and can be reviewed on a screen at a later date.

This can be used to undertake site walk arounds remotely if the video is shared, to review site setup and utilities later on, or to allow CCS Monitor visits to still take place during the COVID-19 shutdown.

In lieu of a site visit a selection of these videos, some in 360 degrees and some in extreme wide angle, were shared with the CCS Monitor.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
