Use of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

To reduce carbon emissions all company cars are now electric and there has been in-depth research undertaken on the availability of hybrid or all electric vans.

This has eliminated over 30,000kg Co2 emissions a year on company cars. A route for purchasing electric vans has been sourced which will have a significant impact on emissions as the fleet is around 30 vehicles and would save 167,000kg a year by changing to electric vans.

Additionally a better driving scheme is conducted, where prizes are awarded to van crews that have the highest miles per gallon as a result of more economical driving.
