Using Cable Ties to Save Water

It is vitally important to minimise the use of natural resources including water as much as possible.

Therefore sites can look for alternative methods to ensure that water usage is monitored and reduced.

Below is an example of energy saving measured implemented on site:

  • Cable ties were used to prevent push taps from being fully depressed, thereby limiting water flow;
  • This is a very simple, but very effective water saving measure;
  • Once this proved to be successful, the site manager implemented this on all of their sites.
