Using temporary pipes to harvest rainwater

Waste water can be reused and rainwater harvested on site, to help reduce water usage.

Harvesting rainwater provides an independent water supply for your site and can be used for many areas.

Sites have harvested rainwater by implementing the following:

  • Temporary rainwater pipes were used to divert rainwater from the roof building, to aid the filling of swimming pool tubs ready for the water tests;
  • This saved taking over 300,000 litres of water from the water main.
