Using the cafe from a local nursery

Adjacent to the site is a drop-in day nursery called the Whistle-Stop Nursery.

On our first visit to introduce ourselves as neighbours we noticed that they run a café for the Mums to have a sandwich and a cup of tea while their kids are out on the fun frames.

The kitchen was underused and the workforce on our site would appreciate a good quality source of food at a reasonable price.

We approached the owner and enquired if they would like to provide a menu tailored to our workforce but with plenty of healthy options, which was agreed.

This relationship is working perfectly and both the nursery owner and our workforce are feeling the benefit in income and eating a healthier diet.
