Vape Collection and Recycling

This contractor has been working with their waste contractor on a vape recycling programme. Vape cessation help is available onsite to support employees and the ultimate banning of single-use e-cigarettes in 2024. Additionally, they have a dedicated vape bin installed, promoted and accessible to all on site.

A specialist pickup service calls at the site to safely collect the used vapes. This ensure that the vapes do not go in with the general waste (an environmental & fire hazard). Through manual dismantling, segregation & cleaning, vapes are recycled & their materials reused.

This initiative will have a considerable impact on the environment and help counter the increasing disposable vape problem currently happening across the country.
