Venom Extractor and Tick Remover

In the local area of this project they are surrounded by a dog park and greyhound rehoming centre and not far from several large reservoirs.

These areas and habitats are the perfect conditions for several species of ticks, therefore they have equipped the site with tick removers to prevent the spread of an diseases they carry and stop them causing harm to workers on site.

In the peak of summer they have also invested in a venom extractor so that if anyone on site or in the forest area is stung they can use the venom extractor to remove the sting and venom.

Staff and supervisors have been taught how to use both of these tools and there are several posters on site to show where to find them.
