Including the local community in the project is important to raise the image of construction.

Providing opportunities to involve the community establishes a considerate and respective relationship. This in turn allows greater communication and co-operation between site and community, improving the image and service of the industry.

The below site demonstrates this through the below example:

  • The use of virtual reality goggles by the contractor to enable residents to better visualise intended works at their homes;
  • This ensured the resident’s faith in the contractor and their homes as well as providing a opportunity for feedback;
  • It also demonstrates a high level of community interaction and investment for the residents interest.
