Virtual work placement sessions were implemented which involve real time interaction with people who are performing these jobs on a day to day basis such as design managers, quantity surveyors and site managers to name a few.

This has seen the colleges embracing this course as it has enabled them to claim a learning credit for students towards coursework.

The QS file is given out on the day they are carrying out Quantity Surveying as it carries additional information required as the task the students are being asked to carry out is a real one from a previous project so the whole experience has a realistic approach and shows what the real solution on that project was.
