Washing out concrete wagons

Protecting the environment, to reduce the pollution generated by construction work, should be a top priority for constructors.

Concrete truck mixers need washing out before leaving sites. Due to environmental concerns, washing out on customers’ sites is becoming increasingly difficult, unless there is special facilities available to collect the surplus material.

An innovative design has been developed to solve these issues, taking into consideration the environmental impact, preventing residual cement from polluting the roads and potentially damaging other vehicles:

  • The Concretesock has been developed to put on the end of the chute. Any surplus material escaping from the machine on the return journey is collected in the tough, flexible bag and can be properly disposed of, or even recycled.
